Webimer France Filière Pêche on scallops

 

The scallop was featured in the latest WebiMer issue of France Filière Pêche. Two Ifremer researchers, Eric Foucher (researcher at the Ressources Halieutiques laboratory in Port-en-Bessin) and Philippe Cugier (researcher at the Laboratoire d'écologie benthique côtière in Brest), were the guests of this digital event, which presents ongoing projects between fishermen and scientists. Both offer their expertise to help achieve a balance between commercial exploitation and enlightened management of this much-loved seafood.
