EMODnet Seabed Habitats

EMODnet Seabed Habitats develops the product EUSeaMap and is the one-stop-shop for accessing seabed habitat data in Europe

Seabed Habitats is one of eight themes that comprises the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet). Since 2009 EMODnet has assembled long-term marine data, metadata and products, and published them on thematic portals accessible to the wider community.

EUSeaMap, the pan European broad-scale seabed habitat map, is the flagship product of EMODnet Seabed Habitats. In addition to developing EUSeaMap, the Project collates, processes and makes available online existing habitat maps and habitat occurrence datasets.

EMODnet Seabed Habitats' consortium comprises 12 European Partners. LEBCO is a major partner since 2009.
