Coastal benthic ecology (LEBCO)
The benthic ecology laboratory (LEBCO) is interested in the diversity and functioning of coastal marine ecosystems, and more specifically in the responses of species and communities to natural and anthropogenic pressures.
By combining observation, experimentation and modelling, the team uses and develops complementary approaches to (1) describe and understand biodiversity patterns and their functionalities and (2) observe and model the distribution of benthic habitats.
