28 800 000 000

28 billion 800 million: that's the approximate number of worms that make up the Sainte-Anne honeycomb worms reef in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. With a surface area of 96 hectares, this reef is the largest bioconstruction in Europe and, as such, has a clear biological heritage value. This estimate was made by a drone survey carried out by the LEBCO team for the SISTER project.
