LEBCO participation in the UN Ocean Decade

 

Touria Bajjouk participated, with a presentation entitled "Seeing the deep seafloor with a hyperspectral camera", to UN Ocean Decade Accessible Ocean satellite event on Wednesday 11 May 2022.

 

iAtlantic researchers showcase a range of novel imaging technologies and techniques developed by the project to reveal the secrets of life in the deep ocean. From low-cost cameras to the latest in machine learning, this virtual session offered a taste of the latest advances in deep-sea observation.
